About Jodi Baker Calamai
I come to work everyday alongside an inspiring team of human capitalists with a focus on making work better for humans – and humans better at work. As a lifetime people and culture advocate – to me there is no opportunity more exciting.
I have spent the greater part of the last two decades, first in Europe – and for the last many years back in North America, partnering with leading global organizations to reimagine how they experience HR, digitize their days and humanize how they engage. Some of the largest and most complex programs of its kind. Teaming with clients and colleagues. Innovating on new thinking (books, articles, white papers). Shifting mindset and elevating HR to drive measurable business outcomes.
I had the privilege to lead our HR strategy and digital HR teams both in Canada and globally - and lead our financial services HR transformation practice – all intertwined with two life changing maternity leaves.
Following those experiences – I took my craft to our firm as we transitioned through COVID and into our new normal. As chief strategy officer and people and culture leader for our consulting business in Canada – my focus was on the development and execution of our consulting strategy and priority initiatives to elevate our culture, evolve our business, and shape the future. While continuing to partner with our clients to do the same.
What energizes me? 30 careers in 30 years. Ideation through execution. Coaching, sponsorship, and apprenticeship. Inspiring teams to drive impact and outcomes. Truly only@deloitte.
