A letter from our CEO
It started with a note on my door.
To every woman who has ever been interrupted,
For most of my career, I've been a strategy and operations executive, leading growth, go-to-market and M&A. I loved my work. I also love being a mom.
After one more work trip, I came home and found a note from my daughter in front of my bedroom door:
"Can you come cuddle with me, just so we can be together, even if I'm sleeping?"
I stood there holding that note, and I knew my work and my life had collided. Then I asked myself a question I couldn't shake: why am I being interrupted?
I knew I wasn't alone. So many of the women I admire have faced the same moments, a pregnancy just as a new role opens up, a sick child on the day of a big meeting, and most of us have navigated them on our own.
So I brought together 100 women who had been there. Their experience, and the experts they trusted, became Be Uninterrupted: a place where you don't have to choose between your career and your life.
