• Nominations accepted through online form only.  No email submissions will be accepted.
• Nominators must submit the application form by 11:59pm on the closing date.  Late submissions will not be accepted.
• Self-nomination is allowed.

Requirements:

• The nominee has experienced a meaningful life or career interruption (e.g. health, personal loss, career change, caretaking responsibilities, burnout, or systemic barriers).
• The nominee has demonstrated resilience by reclaiming her path and achieving notable progress or success.
• The nominee's story must reflect growth, learning, and impact.
• The nominee identifies as a woman.

Selection Criteria:

• Overcoming Adversity: Demonstrates strength in navigating significant personal or professional interruptions, challenges, or setbacks.
• Self-Redefinition: Has redefined her identity, purpose, or path through intentional action and reflection.
• Achievement Through Persistence: Has reached meaningful milestones or success that required sustained resilience.
• Inspiration to Others: Serves as a role model, showing others that reclaiming your path is possible.
• Evidence of Growth: Shows a journey of transformation, not just recovery - emerging stronger and more self-directed.
  

Nomination Questions:

1. Overcoming Adversity:  Describe the interruption(s) or challenge(s) the nominee faced. What obstacles did she overcome and how did she navigate them?
2. Reclaiming Her Path:  How did the nominee rebuild or reshape her personal or professional life? What actions did she take to move forward
3. Personal and Broader Impact:  What personal success or milestones has the nominee achieved since her interruption? How has her journey inspired or influenced others?

Requirements: 

• The nominee has supported other women through mentorship, sponsorship, community-building, or access to career/life opportunities.
• The nominee has demonstrated a commitment to empowering others consistently for at least 2 years.
• The nominee must show evidence of impact, either individual lives changed or broader systems influenced.
• The nominee identifies as a woman.

Selection Criteria:

• Uplifting Impact: Has made a meaningful difference in the lives of other women, through mentorship, advocacy, or access to opportunity.
• Intentional Empowerment: Demonstrates active efforts to support others through their interruptions (career changes, life pivots, personal struggles).
• Leadership with Purpose: Leads with a vision that includes others, prioritizing collective growth and inclusion.
• Ripple Effect: Evidence that her actions have created lasting change beyond individual interactions (e.g. programs, networks, culture shifts).
• Champion of Equity: Promotes systems, conversations, or cultures that interrupt inequality and foster belonging.

Nomination Questions: 

1. Advocacy and Support: How has the nominee advocated for or supported the growth and development of other women? What specific actions or programs has she led or contributed to?
2. Inclusive Leadership: How does the nominee lead in a way that centers inclusion, collaboration, and shared success?
3. Measurable or Observable Impact: What change has the nominee created or enabled, whether at an individual, organizational, or community level?

Requirements:

• The nominee must be an active member of the Be Uninterrupted community.
• The nominee has demonstrated strong engagement, including regular participation in events or initiatives.
• The nominee consistently contributes to the spirit and culture of the community through support, positivity, and leadership.
• Nominations must come from a fellow member or community leader.

Selection Criteria:

• Consistent Engagement: Actively participates in and contributes to community events, conversations, and initiatives.
• Event Participation: Demonstrates strong attendance and presence at Be Uninterrupted events, showing up with intention and energy.
• Peer Recognition: Respected and appreciated by fellow members for their positivity, leadership, or support.
• Embodiment of Values: Lives the values of Be Uninterrupted, whether through resilience, empowerment, curiosity, or compassion.
• Connector & Contributor: Helps build community through generosity, connecting people, sharing knowledge, or lifting others up.
• Positive Energy & Influence: Brings momentum to the group, sparking ideas, building bridges, and helping others thrive.

Nomination Questions:

1. Community Engagement:  How has the nominee shown up for the Be Uninterrupted community (e.g. events, groups, discussions)? Provide examples.
2. Spirit of the Movement:  How does the nominee embody the values of Be Uninterrupted (resilience, empowerment, curiosity, etc.)?
3. Connection and Contribution:  In what ways has the nominee gone above and beyond to support, uplift, or connect other members?

The Passion to Profit Award

• Open to Canadian women-owned businesses in operation for at least 3 years
• Three finalists will receive a ticket to the Be Uninterrupted Summit on October 24th, sponsored by TD ($600 value).
• One award winner will be selected and honoured live at the Be Uninterrupted Summit.
• Award winner will receive $6000 CAD, and a one-year baseline membership to Be Uninterrupted ($660 value).
